Formation of New Ventures

This fast-paced course addresses the issues faced in starting a new venture from the perspective of the entrepreneur or founder(s) who must understand and lead an entire enterprise.

It tackles the successive challenges faced by entrepreneurs:

Formation of New Ventures is taught by a team of academic faculty, who have deep knowledge of entrepreneurial ecosystems, and successful entrepreneurial leaders. This case-based class gives students the opportunity to learn from the experiences of multiple guest entrepreneurs. Each case typically touches on an array of entrepreneurial challenges, and students assess opportunity and action in light of the perceived capabilities of the individuals and the nature of the environments they face. The course is integrative and allows students to apply many facets of their business school education.
